Company Mission Statement - EPIC’s mission is to make on site air blown coal-based gasification the alternative environmentally acceptable fuel of choice in the North American industrial energy market.

Econo-Power International Corporation (“EPIC”) was formed in 1992 and holds certain intellectual property and other assets relating to the application, sale, installation, ownership and operation of facilities to produce low Btu synthesis gas (“Syngas” or “Coal Gas” or “Fuel Gas”) from coal, waste and other carbon containing materials.  Syngas is used as a direct substitute for coal, liquid fuels, feedstocks, and natural gas.  The Company’s proprietary process and equipment for the generation of Syngas is known as the “EPIC™ Clean Coal Gasification System”. 

Syngas generated using the EPIC™ Clean Coal Gasification System can be readily substituted for premium priced natural gas in almost all existing facilities.  Our primary market segments include both new, retrofit and re-power applications in:
